A friend

As the saying goes true friends are hard to find.even harder to see, but the first time i saw u i know u are my friend, my one true friend.
This short time i have known you, it seems like i have know u forever, u make me laugh, u make me smile, u care, whenever we are together we share a moment of friendship that we'll always have in our heart forever.
the first time, it was really hard for u to open up, gradually u open up and u feel comfortable around me.
u are my one true frien, and u will always be nearest to be heart and closest to my soul.
now i believe that when God gave ur friendship he tried so hard to be fair, but when i have u i got more than my share.

what makes us who we are?

everyone has a unique quality.
we may think differenly
act differently
our behaviour varies
but what make us so different?
we go through the same process at birth
we all have the same ambition to be successful in life
some might make it while others struggle to achieve this one thing until the end
individuality
am not sure but life is a fascinating thing that really is hard to get all the answers to.
judgemental
what is life to you?
do you forsee your life as a wonderful gift any one can give
what makes an individual what they are compare to others
fascinating...

HE IS ALWAYS MY DAD

sometimes we fight
sometimes we laugh
sometimes we just feel like we don't wanna see each other anymore
sometimes we hate each others gut
sometimes there is no space for love
but we share a love that no more can contest
he makes me laugh
he makes me cry
he makes me want to do outrageous things because i just can't stand him
he sometimes never give me space to breath
but he always want me to see on the brighter side of things
he always want the best for me in a way that i sometimes see awful and really uncall for
we never see things the same way
but when i sit and think in his own way
i realise he have seen it all and done it all
and he never want me to go through the same struggle that he went through
he has all this wonderful things that he want me to achieve
and if i achieve these things he is going to be be the happiest man in life
he doesn't want me to be hurt
he want me to to concentrate fully on my studies to achieve my goals-that's a Dad role anyways
he yell at me so much sometimes that i loose my senses and i think he hates me
but he does that because i did the wrong thing and want me to know that it hurt him
what ever happens he is always there for me
when he ignore me sometimes i feel worthless Coz he is the only man that i have ever loved
there are Men, but there are Men like my DAD Edmondson
what ever he does and no matter what he does he is always going to be My wonderful
DAD
sometimes i feel that i would be with him for ever -oh i wish
maybe he is going to miss me years when i will final leave him
he does want me to think that but that the hard fact.
every man can be a father but it take a man to be a DAD
the most powerful man anymore can think of is my Dad-
my Dad My DAD- OH MY DAD

I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHY

what wrong with humans on earth these days, why are they so unpredictable and unbelieveable hiprocrites.
they just can't leave you to be you. why do they have to spread all false stories just to tanish your character. why are we so cruel to each other?
can someone explain what going on in our society today. we need God to wash and cleanse this earth and transform us in his own image.
I'm just a 17 years old, few months ago one lady from the darkness of hell majestically came up to my dad and say to him" do you know that your daughter is pregnant" and three days ago my friend told me that he had a rumour that my Dad caught me in a car having sex that's why am so skinny these days, coz i just can't handle the free life am leaving.
what all that?
seriously am just fed up. why people just can't mind their own business?
i just want to be me that's all. it is a crime to be yourself.can't i be me

A speech

few weeks ago. i was asked by my teacher to give a speech about my experiences of war in my country and other countries in Africa that have undergo war. this is a special day 11/11/04 that we shall remember all the people around the world who have lost thier lives in war and have suffered from the experience.
After you read my speech just be silent for one minute to remember the brave one's who lost thier lives.

My speech on Remembrance day
Good morning guests, students and teachers.Today, we are here to pay special tribute and remember all those who losts their lives in times of conflict and war, fighting to preserve freedom for all.
firstly i would like to share my own experiences of war in my country, Sierra Leone. Images of war are still vivid in my mind- the jet fighters, helicopters, guns and mercenary military planes. i can still hear the sounds of the guns, the bombardment, the cries and the look on the faces of my mother, sister and brother. I knew immediately there was trouble and the happy family i used to know was scattered by the terror. My mother and younger sister are currently in sierra leone unable to escape the horror, My youngest brother has found refuge in London. And my other younger brother is in Guinea. It makes me sad to think we are unable to stay as a family. I am living with my Dad presently in AUstralia.
sometimes i think about the horrors in Sierra Leone. thinking back to the days when i was looking for protection, clinging to my Mum's arms. from the moment i was devastated and traumatised by the horror. I have seen the atrocities as a child and it is very difficult to forget the horrific images of war.
Most countries in Africa, such as Sierra Leone, Sudan, Rwanda,Liberia,Uganda, South Africa etc, have gone through the most brutal episodes of war in which the only image most children like me know are the images of atrocities, the misery from chopping of hands, limbs and other parts of the body; to rape; kidnapping and forcing young boys and girls into the army.
most scenarios become all too familiar that it becomes too difficult to let them go. As a child i have seen my house burn down. i have seen people killed. i have seen people take their last breath.
This trauma will never go away. Everyday is a struggle. learning to deal with what i have seen.
It has been stated that millions opf children fought in the war, giving them drugs in an attempt to de-sensitise them to the horror of killing family members. Many of them Forced to do unspeakable acts of violence. children were trained to use a machine gun and other weapons.
This war left a legacy of suffering and rejection among the children and people from these countries. In Sudan alone, millions of people had perished in its internal war. Not counting the other millions of men, children and women in other countries in Africa. Today, men ,women and children are paying the price of the brutal policies. these people deal with the horror everyday.
sometimes we choose not to look, to ignore the horror as we are unable to endure the images of war, the pain and suffering and man's potential to do harm. we abandon our human responsiblity.
I wanted to share my experiences with you so that i can raise awareness about the plight of the people in Africa. let's not turn away so within ourselves we feel comfortable so that we don't feel anything when the News report describes the suffering of war, we change the channel but by doing so we are less likely to do anything to change the situation of war. In reality we can make the difference. By advocating to people who are in a positon to make the difference. saying 'no to war', supporting the plight of the refugees, and making humanitarian aid available to those who need it most.
on this day take the time to consider all the people of different races and those who have lost their lives in war. let's remember those who have suffered from the experiences and are still suffering. We shall remember them.

A phrase to contemplate on

We know very well who benefits from war in the age of empire. But we must also ask ourselves honestly who benefits from peace in the age of empire? War mongering is criminal. But talking of peace without talking of justice could easily become advocacy for a kind of capitulation. And talking of justice without unmasking the institutions and the systems that perpetrate injustice is beyond hypocritical.

Hey beautiful people on earth, the Quote above is fr0m an article by Arundhati Roy, who won the Sydney peace prize Award this year.

This is like a win- lose situation. Without peace you can't get justice, and so without justice you can't get peace. choosing this Quote by this inspiring and outspoken lady, who stands up tall and bold to say what she thinks can make a difference to all of us, despite setbacks for what she thinks and believes.

Take a minute and contemplate these words peace! justice! maybe we say them everyday, eg be nice! why don't you be fair to one other: but do we know what they really mean? you will realise that peace and justice are the key to every successful country.

This is just like my country. all the people were crying that they needed peace. How they need peace without justice. then they came up with election before peace. After the election they can accomplish peace. up till now there is no sign to the road to peace and they are impatiently waiting for a helping hand to the way to peace.
one can not do injustice to find peace, nor the other way.

stereotype views are gone, and i think Roy has proven my point. she is a lady that says something that everyone can relate to, to make the world a better place. decades ago, women didn't have the opportunity to speak publicly.

every one needs fair treatment to have peace. In every religion there is a book that tells you the commandments and rules to follow. flick the pages and you will find it's obvious there is a chapter that says be FAIR and JUST to one another.

this lady is such a person. I love her words and ideas.I don't really know what to say other than to appreciate her awareness. Coming out of the closet to advocate to the people specially in the position who can make this happen

In a more honest way, with peace and justice in the world, every nation can enjoy the benefits of change. We can't coverup one in a sense to achieve the other. We need to come together to fight for peace and justice.

Take a minute and think about a place you know that has peace and justice, and think about the words that Roy has said, go to this link and read the full Article

LIFE

Life is like climbing a tree,
While climbing there are branches to protect us from falling,

And somethings act on the opposite,
People tend to rest on these branches , to gain insight before preceeding.
This branches leads us to different passage to the top and has a unique qualities and different leaves.
Life move so fast that we don't realise it
People move in different pace, others try to go where the wind take them.
Life is like a temporary group, that dissolve when they achieve their goal.
life is a
narrow and
crooked
path.
Sometimes we set a goal in our lifes, that we never achieve.
Life is like a mountain that everyone try to summit,
Not everyone summit this mountain.
Life is like a little river that tries to flow into the big ocean
Life is what we make out of it, its a challenge
And a twisted journey.

Life is a nature, that can change
Life is unpredictable
Life sometimes behave really unsincerely
That we want to give up,
Every struggle in life is for the better.
